
Towards Total Quality Management – TQM
Schunk Ibérica’s Board of Directors, aware of commitments held with stakeholders, allocates the necessary resources in order to warranty that products furnished by our Company fully comply all legal, standard and individual requirements dully managing environmental aspects. Customer satisfaction is fulfilled via procuring an optimal product for a reasonable price. Personnel satisfaction is acquired for properly working in an environment that allows to develop all human capabilities. Shareholders satisfaction is met by obtaining personal and monetary profits from the organisation.
Hence, the company has implemented an environmental and quality system based on the Standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004, oriented towards the achievement of the following goals:
- Assure that products supplied meet customers’ requisites as well as legal and regulatory ones, also fulfilling all applicable legal requirements.
- Enhance failure reduction.
- Establishment of prevention oriented systems, not only focussed towards failure detection.
- Deliver products meeting value for money customers’ expectations.
- Development of continuous improvement as well as waste reduction programs, such as product and service development in quality, technical and environmental aspects.
- Implement permanent training programs that allow personnel to have as high qualification level as needed to fulfil tasks contained in the Quality and Environmental System.
- Hold permanent contact with Customers in order to collaborate in the improvement of their products and services.
- Foster personnel’s motivation and involvement in order to obtain their participation in managing and developing the implemented Quality and Environmental System.
Senior Management will establish within the General Policy of Schunk Ibérica, S.A necessary plans and resources to achieve targets set out in the environmental and quality policy.
The environmental and quality instruction manual comprises both philosophy and guidelines of the environmental and quality policy system, rolled out on the different proceedings mentioned on it.
The whole organisation of Schunk Ibérica, S.A., is committed to obligatory fulfil assignments of the environmental and quality management policy, especially the persons in charge of related activities.
Quality and environmental policy will be updated on an annual basis by the senior management in order to permanently adequate it to the Company’s presence and surroundings in which activity is performed.
