| The CompanyThe Schunk Group, established in 1913, is a group of world-wide technology companies with a very broad product and services range aimed to attend different market sectors. Schunk has all over the world more than 7.500 employees. As a Global Player the Group is represented by 60 companies in more than 26 countries, holding a strategic collaboration net with some of the most important research institutes continuously focussing to further development and innovation. Schunk Ibérica is set up in 1982 between the Schunk Group and the Spanish company Carbones y Escobillas Eléctricas, S.A., incorporated in 1942. Its constant expansion leads to the constitution of the Portuguese subsidiary in 1989. In 2004, its continuous development has lead to the inauguration of its new facilities.
